RealVisit powered by Clover Insight
You can't be in every sales visit.Your customers can tell you what happened.
RealVisit, powered by Clover Insight, is built to ask homeowners about the visit itself, so you can see where trust is earned and where it is lost.
Apply for the ChallengeThe problem
Your reps can tell you how the visit went. Your customers can tell you how it felt.
You hear about a visit from the person who ran it. The homeowner's side rarely reaches you.
“Lost on price” may only be part of the story.
A customer who says no may be reacting to price, or to how the visit felt. Without asking, you are guessing.
By the time a problem shows up, it is old.
A cancelled install or a one-star review is usually the end of a story that started in the home, weeks earlier.
What RealVisit is built to do
RealVisit is built to capture the in-home sales visit from the customer's side. After the visit, the homeowner is asked about the visit itself and the people in it. You see which visits build trust and where it slips, so coaching and decisions rest on what customers said instead of gut feel.
How it works
- 1
The visit happens.
Your rep runs the appointment the way they always do.
- 2
The homeowner gets a short survey.
It arrives by email, in your company's name, after the visit.
- 3
You see what they said.
Answers come back about the visit and the people in it.
Built first for home service companies that sell in the home.
Roofing, windows, HVAC, remodeling, flooring, and similar. For owners who cannot be in every visit and managers who coach the people who are. Just as useful when sales are going well, because you can see why.
What about customers who did not buy?
Customers who didn't buy can help you understand what kept them from moving forward.
RealVisit is built to send a short survey by email after the visit, in your company's name. It goes only to customers who have agreed to hear from you. The goal is to learn what was missing, not to win the sale back.
Your CRM tells you what happened. RealVisit tells you why.
Your CRM tracks appointments, sales, and results. But who is finding out why customers aren't buying?
RealVisit, powered by Clover Insight, goes beyond collecting customer feedback. It is built to turn what your customers say into sales intelligence management can use: coaching opportunities, patterns across the team, and the reasons behind lost sales.
Feedback is gathered shortly after the visit, while it is still fresh, so you can spot what to work on before the next appointment.
Better insights. Better coaching. Better sales.

Value: Customers aren't sure the money was well spent. They can't say what they got that a cheaper bid wouldn't have given them.
Illustrative only. A real Clover Score is calculated from your customers' own survey responses.
Beyond the Appointment
RealVisit picks up right after the appointment: the sale that closed, the one that didn’t, and the thirty days after the job is finished. That’s where the real story lives, and almost none of it reaches your CRM.
We call the difference between what you believe and what actually happened the Perception Gap.
RealVisit captures it. Clover Insight runs the loop (measure, understand, improve, prove) and is built to grow into the rest of the customer lifecycle as it does.
What you believe
“We’re losing deals because of price.”
What customers say
“I wasn’t confident enough to make a decision.”
The Perception Gap
Price wasn’t the problem. Confidence was.

Prove
What are blind spots costing you?
Not every “lost to price” deal was actually lost to price. Not every satisfied-sounding customer stays that way. The gap between what you believe and what's real isn't just a reporting problem. It's deals, referrals, and renewals you can't see slipping.
10 of 200 appointments a year
Say 1 in 20 of your “lost to price” deals this year was actually lost to something else: a confidence gap, a slow callback, an unclear quote. On 200 appointments a year, that's 10 deals where the real reason was fixable and nobody knew to fix it.
Small, specific improvements compound. A one-point swing on a single pillar, held across a year of appointments, adds up to more than it looks like on the day you make the change.
Illustrative example only: a hypothetical, not a projection, estimate, or guarantee for your business. We don't have outcome data yet to promise a revenue result. What we can give you is visibility into where the gap actually is, and proof of whether closing it worked.
Turn feedback into proof
Four key areas. One clearer picture of your business.
From the first sales appointment through the completed installation, Clover Insight captures the homeowner's perspective at every critical stage.
These four pillars roll up into one Clover Score: the proof that something changed, and evidence you can put in front of your team instead of a hunch.
Trust
Was the customer told the truth at the kitchen table, and did the finished job match what they were promised?
Communication
Did the customer understand their options, what to expect, and what came next?
Experience
Did the customer feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout the experience?
Value
Did the customer understand the value, and ultimately feel the investment was worth it?
What it means for your business
Visibility
Discover what your sales reports and CRM can’t tell you.
Accountability
See where the customer experience aligns with your process, and where it doesn’t.
Profitability
Turn customer insight into better sales performance, stronger retention, and smarter decisions.
Looking ahead: as more companies complete the Clover Challenge, we're exploring a Clover Verified designation: a way to show that a company's customer-experience claims are backed by independently measured proof, not a testimonial page. Not available yet.
Questions
My CRM already sends customer surveys. How is RealVisit different?
That's a great question, and it's exactly why we created RealVisit.
Many CRM platforms can automatically send emails, request reviews, and collect customer satisfaction surveys. But collecting feedback is only the beginning. The real questions are:
- Who is analyzing that feedback?
- Who is identifying patterns across your sales team?
- Who is discovering why customers decided not to buy?
- Who is showing your sales reps where they can improve?
- And most importantly, how is that information being used to win more business?
That's where RealVisit is different. It is designed to ask for feedback shortly after an in-home sales appointment, while the visit is fresh in the customer's mind. That feedback becomes insight into trust, communication, value, sales pressure, and the overall customer experience.
Instead of only telling management that a salesperson closed 30% of their appointments, RealVisit is designed to help explain what may be behind the other 70%. (Those numbers are an example, not a result.)
Imagine a sales manager sitting down with a rep and saying:
“We've reviewed customer feedback from your last 20 unsold appointments. Here's what those homeowners are telling us, here are the patterns we're seeing, and here are the specific areas we can work on together to help you close more business.”
That's the difference between collecting customer feedback and actually using it to coach your team.
RealVisit isn't designed to replace your CRM. It's designed to make the information around your sales appointments more valuable.
Our goal is simple: help companies turn customer experiences into better coaching and stronger sales teams, and identify opportunities to grow sales.
How is this different from a satisfaction score like NPS?
A single score tells you how customers feel about your company overall. RealVisit is built around the in-home visit itself and the people in it, so feedback connects to what happened and who was there.
Who is it for?
Home service companies that sell in the home, and the owners and managers responsible for how those visits go.
Do my customers need an account?
No. Homeowners get a secure link by email and can answer from their phone.
How does pricing work?
We will publish pricing before launch. Clover Challenge applicants hear first.

We'll reach out personally.
Before the first customer response comes in, you lock your predictions about what your customers are experiencing. For the next 60 days, RealVisit independently measures Trust, Communication, Experience and Value. Then we compare what you believed with what customers actually reported: where perception and reality matched, and where they didn't. Tell us a bit about your business.
RealVisit is in private pilot. Rather than open it to everyone, we're giving a small number of home-service businesses access first.
